Resident Testimonials

Bill and Muriel Zoll - During our visits to Bethany Village we felt so welcomed by everyone. Residents and staff, were happy and friendly. We made the move to the Homestead early in our retirement years, because we wanted the lifestyle Bethany provides and knew we would have a place at Bethany for the rest of our lives. Our home is world class; a few words describe our life at Bethany: relaxing, friendly, peaceful and tranquil.

We participate in many of the programs offered, and volunteer our time so other residents in assisted living can have an active life at Bethany. There are many and varied activities: travel to far and near destinations, lunch at various locations, programs designed to help residents lead healthy lives. You can be as active or as relaxed as you want to be.

One other plus - the dining experience in the beautiful Fountain Place Restaurant serves the most delectable meals in a beautiful setting, overlooking the lovely, beautiful “Reflection Lake”. We have “theme dinners” once a month with social time, so everyone can visit and catch up on the news.

We have no regrets! We are very happy with our lives at Bethany. Some residents call their accommodations an apartment, some call it a residence; we call it HOME.

Dottie Bitzer - When I moved into my home in Vista Place at Bethany Village over six years ago, my life did not slow down! It was only enhanced. My days are free of stress. I don’t have to cook or clean—and if I would ever need additional services, I know that they are always available to me.

Jennifer McConnell - I’ve got my independence! When I was planning my retirement, I knew where I would move—to Bethany! Now I don’t have to worry about cooking or cleaning. Best of all, I have the time I need to really enjoy my life. It’s like family here! They welcomed me with open arms… and I’m surrounded by some of the same caring staff members who helped my mother when she lived at Bethany.

Charles and Carolyn Brown - We moved to Bethany from Toledo about two years ago. We wanted to make our own decisions about housing. And we wanted to be assured of continuing care.

We get all that and more here at Bethany. Now we don’t have to deal with plumbers, roofers, lawn maintenance, snow removal or anything that needs to be fixed. We don’t have to worry about anything. We can just look out the window and watch them work.

It’s such a wonderful place to live. We have all kinds of activities here. Classes, aerobics, lectures, book reviews and a wonderful library. All that is right here. And, the neighbors around here are great, too. They’re terrific people. Carolyn’s sister even moved to the Homestead!
